Dorothy Dell Fournier

Mrs. Dorothy Dell “Dot” Gagnon Fournier, 75, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis.

There will be a private burial in Sweetwater, TX.

Mrs. Fournier was born October 21, 1937 in Worcester County, MA. She was one of six children of the late Leo E. Gagnon and Edelle Edith Brooks Stevens. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and retired as a Director of Nursing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arthur Fournier, Sr.; daughter, Susan Fournier Cato; and a son, Robert Fournier, Jr.

Mrs. Fournier is survived by two sons, Russell Fournier and wife Lila of Sweetwater, TX and Richard Fournier of Anton, TX; daughter-in-law, Karen Fournier of Mt. Pleasant; son-in-law, Eric Cato; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
