Dorothy Louise Jack

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Hendrix Jack, 75, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Carolinas Healthcare System-NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Roper will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Saturday prior to service at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jack was born on December 29, 1939 in Manhattan, NY. She is the daughter of the late Isaac Hendrix and Mary Hendrix. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Dorothy also liked singing and dancing. She was a people person and had a great sense of humor.

Mrs. Jack is survived by five children, Reedie Bobby Bass, Jr. of Kannapolis, Socorro Bass of Manhatten, NY, Kevin Bass of Brooklyn, NY, Jessica Langley of Maryland and Urella Richards of Henderson; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and her long time companion, Stanley Moore of Manhatten, NY.

Memorials may be made to Lady’s Funeral Home, 268 North Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083 to assist with Mrs. Jack’s funeral expenses.
