Douglas Frank Stauter

Mr. Douglas Frank Stauter, 71, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, April 5, 2024, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Stauter was born September 15, 1952 in Santa Monica, CA. He was a son of the late Lawrence Edward Stauter and Barbara Oldham Stauter. He taught at Pfeiffer college and was a member of the Kannapolis YMCA where he coached for over 25 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Richard Stauter.

Mr. Stauter is survived by his wife, Marilyn Parker Stauter; daughter, Hayley Elizabeth Patterson and husband Tyler of Stony Point; son, Brendan Charles Stauter of Kannapolis; sister, Patricia Stauter Adams and husband John of Corona Del Mar, CA; brother, John Stauter and wife Beth of the Phillipines; and his two dogs, Willow and Darla.
