Doyle Cecil Collins

Mr. Doyle Cecil Collins, 80, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Tucker Hospice House.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Monday, November 12, 2012, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. David Hayes will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12:30 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Collins was born November 24, 1931 Danielsville, GA. He was a son of the late George Franklin Collins and Thressa Parham Collins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He was a member of First Evangelical Methodist Church and retired from Fuller Supply Company in Concord.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Richard Collins.

Mr. Collins is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Tino Collins; son, Eric Dean Collins and his wife, Caroline of Kannapolis; and granddaughter, Kelli Collins.
