Mr. Dwayne Benjamin Prater, 61, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 12:00 pm Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mr. Prater was born August 26, 1962 in Fulton County, GA. He was a son of Hugh Benjamin Prater and the late Linda Strickland Prater. Before retiring, Dwayne worked for R+L Carriers for over 30 years.
Dwayne is survived by his father, Hugh Benjamin Prater and step-mother Deborah Prater of Dalton GA; sister, Kimberly E. Bugg and husband Joseph of Salisbury.
