I am a sales rep from AT&T and I would see him very often paying his bills at my store and also when I would run into him at Sogo while I was on my lunch break. He had such a great attitude and would always have a smile on his face! I enjoyed our conversations and jokes! I am deeply sorry for this lost and will keep him and his family in my prayers.
mo i am so sorry to hear about your son eddie. when i heard about the accident. my thoughts prayers were with you may god give you strenght through this time of sorrow your friend kim

I came by today to see you Oh I had to let you know If I knew the last time that I held you was the last time I'd have held you, and never let go
Oh, it's kept me awake nights, wondering
I lie in the dark, just asking why I've always been told You won't be called home Until it's your time
I guess heaven was needing a hero Somebody just like you Brave enough to stand up
For what you believe And follow it through
When I try to make it make sense in my mind
The only conclusion I come to Is heaven was needing a hero Like you
I remember the last time I saw you Oh, you held your head up proud with a smile and I laughed inside When I saw how you were standing out in the crowd Your such a part of who I am Now that part will just be void No matter how much I need you now Heaven needed you more
Cause heaven was needing a hero Somebody just like you Brave enough to stand up
For what you believe And follow it throughWhen I try to make it make sense in my mindThe only conclusion I come to Is heaven was needing a hero Like you Yes, Heaven was needing a heroand that's you
we all will miss you at Sogo's and your wonderful smile you should everyone god bless your family
To all the family and friends:
My daughter was in the car that was directly behind Eddie's in the accident. Our prayers have been with you throughout this whole ordeal, even though we never got the chance to meet.
From what we've heard from those who knew him, Eddie was certainly a gifted young man.
We are so saddened for your loss. May a "peace that passes understanding" guard your hearts and minds during these difficult hours.
With love, thoughts, and prayers,
The Young Family

Eddie was a nice young man that always had a smile on his face. I remember him from being in pre-k with my daughter up to graduation in 2007, he never lost that smile. He was a great Wonder football player as well. I pray God give the family peace in the difficult days ahead. Do know that earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I always enjoyed seeing Eddie at Sam's Club and around town because he always smiled and greeted me so kindly. I also remember Eddie as a great Wonder and a great kid. I will will miss him.
I was Eddie's preschool teacher at First Baptist Church in Kannapolis and have had the pleasure of keeping up with him through the years. I remember his smile and he always took the time to speak when running into him in the community. I remember his mom and how special her family was to her.
I am so very sorry to learn of Eddie's death and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Eddie was one of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He always knew what to say to cheer me up when I was having a bad day and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't stop smiling when I was around him. He had a heart of gold and was always there when anyone needed him. It truly breaks my heart that he was taken from us entirely too soon but I know that I will see him and that handsome smile of his again one day. We love and miss you Eddie.
