Edgar Craig Watkins

Mr. Edgar Craig Watkins, 72, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:30 pm Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Kannapolis Church of God. Dr. Greg Sloop will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:15 pm Sunday and following the service at Kannapolis Church of God.

Mr. Watkins was born February 15, 1951 in Mooresville. He was a son of the late Edgar Watkins and Eunice Hobbs Watkins. He was a member of Kannapolis Church of God and worked as a computer technician for Snap-On Tools. He had a great love for music and was a protector of all those around him.

Edgar is survived by his wife, Barbara Dagenhart Watkins; two daughters, Dora W. White and husband Michael of Davidson and Heather W. Harker of Mooresville; brother, Anthony Watkins of Kannapolis; and three grandchildren, Nolan Troy White, Easton Michael White and Christian Lee Harker.
