Edison Mclean Keever

June 2, 1917 — March 4, 2007

A skilled carpenter, Ed Keever crafted many items for his friends and family, as well as finishing the woodwork on several homes in Kannapolis. Also, for forty-three years, Ed worked at various Cannon Mills locations as a loom fixer. On March 4, three months before his ninetieth birthday, Ed went to be with the Lord and his sweetheart, Rosalie, who died six months ago. The third youngest of thirteen siblings, Ed survived them all. He leaves behind his son, Wade and daughter-in-law, Judy. Also left are his grandchildren, Kym; Kelly and her husband, Rex McClure; and Kevin and his wife, Lois. God allowed Ed to know his great-grandchildren: Daniel and Matthew McClure; and Kylei, Katie, and Chip Keever. Ed's eternal life will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 7 at Royal Oaks United Methodist Church, with a visitation at 1:00 and service at 2:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Carolina Memorial Park.
