Edith Puntch Boger

Mrs. Edith Puntch Boger, 93, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kirk Tutterow and Rev. Tracy Love will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Boger was born August 23, 1924 in Kannapolis, NC. She was a daughter of the late James B. Puntch, Sr. and Mae Agnes Demarcus Puntch. She attended King Business College after graduating from J.W. Cannon High School. She was a life long member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was part of the choir for 50 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Samuel R. Boger, Jr.

Mrs. Boger is survived by two sisters, Mauvoreen "Susie" Jamison and Betty P. Moore and husband Carl, both of Kannapolis; three nieces, Suzanne Thompson and husband Mike, Patti Stodghill and husband Mark, Penny Black and husband David; and two nephews, Michael Wike and wife Kathy and Danny Puntch and wife Julie.
