Edith Sechler

Mrs. Edith Brown "Pat" Sechler, 92, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sechler was born June 11, 1923 in Rowan County, NC. She was a daughter of the late Walter Lee Alvin Brown and Verdie Shoemaker Brown. She worked as a nursing assistant for 10 years at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Formerly, Mrs. Sechler worked for colonial stores, and she also owned and operated a gift store. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sechler is survived by two sons, Leo Morgan of Kannapolis, and W.C. “Butch” Sechler; three brothers, Hoyle Brown, Jess Brown and Walter Brown; two sisters, Ann Cavin and Mae Davis.
