Mr. Edmund Theodore Bates, 56, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Carolinas HealthCare System-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tony Sparks will officiate. Interment will follow at West Concord Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mr. Bates was born January 20, 1962 in Endicott, NY. He was a son of the late Edmund Bates and Celia Englett Bates.
Mr. Bates is survived by his wife, Kathryn Hadden Bates; a son, David Bates of Concord; and a sister, Donna Allen and husband Gary of West Corners, NY.
He is also survived by his beloved Chihuahuas, Bella, Chico and Chloe.
