My Grandmother was the best. When I was born only weighing 3lbs 12oz the doctor's said I wouldn't make it. My grandmother said yes she will send her home with me. She made me a bed in a shoe box and would pull the dresses drawer out and put my little shoe box inside it. And I am a survivor. And she helped my mom take care of me.
She called me her little jack Rabbit. I have so many memories I could share. I love you Grandmother infinity ♾ and beyond this 🌎 go fly high with Jesus and I'll see you again one day when I come home to heaven.
I know your rejoicing with our love ones. And walking with God . Rest in peace. And give my mom and Dad a hug from your little jack Rabbit. I love you ❤️.
Saints of God, come to her aid!
Come to meet her, angels of the Lord!
Receive her soul and present her to God the Most High.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her and may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
I began working with Mrs. Burgess, in 1967, at Cabarrus Memorial. I was a candy striper, and she taught me a lot, before I became a nurse.
I often saw her at auctions, and she still remembered me.
I know she led a full life on earth, but now, she’s living in her perfect domain. 💜💜💜
I never had the privilege of working with Mrs Burgess for she had retired when I started in Labor & Delivery. I did however get to talk to her at our “Old People’s” lunches at Punchy’s over the years. What a dear woman! My sympathy to your family.
