Elmer Brutus Melton

Elmer B. Melton, 70, of Kannapolis passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at his home.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, April 21, 2012 in The Amity House at Lady's Funeral Home.

E.B. was born September 24, 1941 in Chesterfield County, SC. He was a son of the late Leroy and Annie Melton. He retired from Pillowtex in 2003 where he worked in the weave room.

Survivors include his son, Mark Melton and wife, Kim Hoosier of Orange, VA; two grandsons, Forrest and Jude Melton, both of Virginia; sister, Virginia Gibson and many nieces and nephews.
