Emma Hurst Gravely

Emma Hurst Gravely, 74, of , 1728 Caro-mar Place, Concord, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at W. G. "Bill" Hefner Medical Center in Salisbury. A memorial service is scheduled for 7:30 pm Friday at the residence on Caro-mar Place. The Rev. Curtis Parker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7:30 pm Friday prior to the service at the residence. Ms. Gravely was born July 24, 1934 in Vienna, WV. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Hurst and Tressie Carnell Hurst. She worked as a secretary and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She is survived by her son, Tim Brant, Sr. and wife Judy of Concord; a sister, Edith Eaton of Pulaski, VA; grandsons, Tim Brant, Jr. and wife Bethany, and Phillip Brant and wife Julie, all of Concord.
