Ernest Cardwell Holdredge

Mr. Ernest Cardwell Holdredge, Jr., 71, formerly of Charlotte passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Baptist Health Lexington in Lexington, KY.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, January 27, 2014, at Sharon Memorial Park. Rev. Dr. Jarrod Lanning will officiate.

Mr. Holdredge was born August 26, 1942 in Knoxville, TN. He was the son of the late Ernest Cardwell Holdredge and Olive Bittle Holdredge. He was a retired mechanical engineer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Ernest Holdredge.

Mr. Holdredge is survived by two sons, Jonathan Holdredge and wife April of Gypsum, CO and Paul Holdredge and wife Katy of Milwaukee, WI; sister, Susan Barnhardt and husband Steve of Concord; grandson, Finn Holdredge; and several nieces and nephews.
