Essie Williams Barnhardt

Essie Williams Barnhardt, 90, died Friday, August 14, 2009 at Heritage Plantation in Salisbury. Born August 11, 1919 in Landis, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Williams and Minnie Honeycutt Williams. She was retired from Linn-Corriher Mill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vestel Franklin Barnhardt, who died on March 6, 1994. Survivors include five grandsons, Donnie Wayne Bost, Sr., Hugh Wilson Bost, Jr., Danny Wade Bost, Christopher Moore and Lee F. Williams; two step-grandchildren, James Moore, Jr. and Victoria Moore; nine great-grandchildren, Jonathan Bost, Joshua Bost, Joseph Bost, Sean Moore, Donnie Wayne Bost, Jr., Derek Bost, Mandy Bost, Megan Bost and Lillian Bost; and three great-great-grandchildren, Jada Bost, Wyatt Bost and Haley Moore. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Landis.
