Ethel Lee Caldwell Gallman

Mrs. Ethel Lee Caldwell Gallman, 67, of Concord, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Her brother, Rev. Bowman Caldwell, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Gallman was born August 1, 1943 in Newberry, SC. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Oral Caldwell and Eugena Bowman Caldwell. She worked for Cannon Mills Co. as a spinner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Waddell Sims and Willie Sims. Mrs. Gallman is survived by her husband, Eddie Gallman; five children, Betty Sims, Sweetee Gallman, Roy Gallman, Howard Sims and Eddie Mobley; two brothers, Otis B. Caldwell and Bowman Caldwell; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
