Ethel Nadine Pursell Odor

Mrs. Ethel Nadine Pursell Odor, 88, of 278 Fryling Ave. SW, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 am Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Epworth United Methodist Church. Rev. Dr. Glenn Myers will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Mrs. Odor was born May 23, 1922 in Paola, KS. She was the daughter of the late Paul Pursell and Mabel Foster Pursell. She worked for Farmland Industries as an insurance adjuster. She was a member of Hermitage Christian Church, Hermitage, MO. Nadine was also a member of V.F.W. Post 9638 in Galmey, MO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Otto Odor; son, Ronald Carol; and brother, Damon Pursell. Mrs. Odor is survived by son, Richard "Rick" Odor and wife Rev. Karen Kaser-Odor of Concord, NC; brother, Kenneth Pursell and wife Gloria of Kansas City, MO; and two grandsons, Jared L. Kaser-Odor, and Eli A. Kaser-Odor.
