Etta Beatrice Eaves' Obituary
Mrs. Etta Beatrice Scott Eaves, 90, of N. Little Texas Road, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Avante at Concord.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at West Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in China Grove. Rev. Charles Gray will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Melania Hodge, 258 Summit Park Court, Kannapolis.
Mrs. Eaves was born July 11, 1921, in Wadesboro, NC. She was a daughter of the late Nathan Scott and Etta McGee Scott. She was formerly employed by Woolworth in Kannapolis, UNC-Charlotte and K&W Cafeteria in Concord until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Eaves in 1964 and brother, Daniel Scott.
Mrs. Eaves is survived by her daughter, Melania Hodge and husband Sam of Kannapolis, son, James Beam and wife Katherine of Kannapolis; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
