Louise and Patsy, please except my most heartfelt sympathy. Gene was a wonderful husband and father. I know he loved both of you very much. I have been thinking of you and what you are going through. Gene fought the good fight and now he is resting at peace with Jesus.
You will always miss him even though he has been in bed or sick for so long. The care that you gave all these years was the best humanly possible--have no regrets--he had the best.
I will miss Gene and his smile as he sat in the front of the church and listened and cared for his friends and family.
You will be in my prayers every day.
