Eva Mae Nantz Fortner

Mrs. Eva Mae Nantz Fortner, 74, of 803 DeSota Avenue, Kannapolis, died Friday, June 28, 2002, at Transitional Health Services. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:30 PM Monday, July 1, 2002, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Michael Moree will officiate. Mrs. Fortner was born August 3, 1928 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Russell Fredrick Nantz and Martha Reaby Walter Nantz. She retired from Cannon Mills and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Glen Fortner, in 1982. Mrs. Fortner is survived by her sister, Mary Lee Towell, of Charlotte; a niece, Chellyn Dulin, of Charlotte; two great-nephews, Russell and Brian Dulin.
