Eva Hardy Parker

Mrs. Eva Hardy Parker, 74, of 639 Hunter Oak Drive #10, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born October 27, 1931, in Fieldale, Va., she was the daughter of the late Roy Franklin Hardy and Onie Lawless Hardy. She retired from the office of Cannon Mills. Her husband, Charles Madison Parker, preceded her in death on February 19, 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Kelley Hiller and husband, Dennis, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Marliyn Stauter and husband, Doug, of Kannapolis; one sister, Norma Patterson of China Grove; a brother, J. B. Hardy of China Grove; three grandchildren, Whitney Hiller, Hayley Stauter and Brendan Stauter; and two grand-puppies, Gypsy and Chancey.
