Evelyn Viola Leazer Page

Mrs. Evelyn Viola Leazer Page, 95, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Salisbury.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born September 30, 1929 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Walter Edward Leazer and Ivory Jane Yost Leazer. She was a member of Genesis Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Allen Page; four sisters, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Angeline Leazer Fortner, Mary Adeline Leazer McBride, Effie Mae Leazer Stiller and Marie Elma Leazer Miller; and four brothers, Johnnie Monroe Leazer, Willie Edward Leazer, James Everette Leazer and Clinton "Jim" Alexander Leazer.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Becky Meismer (Terry) of Wilsons, VA; four sons, Gerald Page (Deborah) of Conover, Larry Page (Lois) of China Grove, Randy Page (Dianne) of China Grove and Terry Page (Sherry) of Holly Ridge; 13 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
