Faith Eddleman Litaker Stirewalt

Mrs. Faith Eddleman Litaker Stirewalt, 91, of Penny Lane, Kannapolis, died Thursday, May 6, 2010 at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Flow-Harris Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Jay Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. Faith was born August 9, 1918 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late William Franklin Eddleman and Grace Furr Eddleman. A graduate of Winecoff High School, she worked and retired from Terry Products and had formerly worked at J.C. Penny, Woolworth and Cannon Mills. She was a member of Flow-Harris Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Thomas C. Litaker, Jr. and Charlie Stirewalt; and a son, Tommy Litaker III. She is survived by daughters, Jeannie Litaker Bostian and husband Keith, of Kannapolis, Judy Litaker Misenheimer of Norwood; a son, Lonnie Litaker and wife, Hilda, of Pleasant Garden; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
