Faye Goodman Owens

Mrs. Faye Goodman Owens, 84, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. Dr. C. Pierson Shaw Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Owens was born August 27, 1936 in Salisbury. She was a daughter of the late Clyde William Goodman and Cleo Elizabeth Barger Goodman. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Owens retired from Cabarrus Memorial Hospital following many years of service. She also enjoyed golfing and fishing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Diggs Owens and brother Fred Goodman.

Mrs. Owens is survived by brother, Carroll Goodman wife Nicole of Canada; sister, Sudie Foil of Kannapolis; two nephews, Tim Goodman and wife Lisa of Reidsville, John Goodman and wife Amy of Arkansas; five nieces, Suzannah Callahan and husband Tripp of Salisbury, Theresa Bendall and husband John of Florida, Karen Shaw and The Rev. Dr. C. Pierson Shaw, Jr. of Hickory, April Cooper and husband Jimmy of Kannapolis and Diana Meinhart and husband Clay of Pennsylvania.
