Flonnie Bowers Clement

Mrs. Flonnie Bowers Clement, of 401 Brentwood Circle, Kannapolis, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Concord Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor John Earnhardt will officiate. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at the National Cemetery, Government Road, Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a daughter, Barbara Fleming, 401 Brentwood Circle, Kannapolis. Born December 25, 1917, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Charles William Bowers and the late Lectie Whitley Bowers. Mrs. Clement was a homemaker and a member of Concord Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her husband, Conrad A. Clement, preceded her in death on June 13, 1979. Survivors include two daughters, Dolores Boykin and her husband, Ted, of Salisbury and Barbara Fleming and her husband, Darrell, of Kannapolis; one son, Andy Clement and his wife, Sandy, of Concord; seven grandchildren, Roxanne Shue and her husband, Johnny, Jennifer Belk and her husband, Chris, Cissy Stacks and her husband, Bill, Scott Fleming and his wife, Selena, Rodney Fleming, Susan Dudley and her husband, Mark,Tim Boykin and his wife, Darcy; thirteen great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Shue, Andrew Shue, Gabe Belk, Alex Fleming, Tyler Fleming, Zack Dudley, Lauren Dudley, Natalie Dudley, Zack Boykin, Rachel Boykin, Noah Boykin, Megan Fleming and Bethany Fleming.
