Flonnie �Jeffie� Fulkerson

Mrs. Flonnie "Jeffie" Cochrane Fulkerson of Oakboro, passed away peacefully Tuesday, the 3rd of July, 2007, at Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis. She successfully battled breast cancer in 2005, but was rehospitalized in January of this year, after it metastasized to her liver. She was 85. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Sharp and son-in-law, James, both of Concord; her two beloved grandchildren, Thomas and April Sharp, both of Concord; and her special friend of many decades, Dorothy Allen. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4:00 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Fulkseron will be interred along side her parents at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the World Wildlife Fund , PO Box 97180, Washington, DC 20090-7180.
