Flora Brown Overcash

Mrs. Flora Brown Overcash, 86, of Camp Cabarrus Drive, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Best of Care in Kannapolis. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Bethpage Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Rick Hoffarth will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Bethpage Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Saturday at Bethpage Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. At other times, the family will be at the home. Mrs. Overcash was born January 10, 1925 in Randolph County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Willard Brown and Cleta Gross Brown. She was employed as a teller at Cabarrus Bank and Trust Co. Mrs. Overcash is survived by her husband of Arthur "Leon" Overcash, son, Landrel Brown wife Barbara of Charlotte, NC. 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
