Frances Erlene Bock

Mrs. Frances Erlene Lapish Bock, 87, a resident of Concord First Assembly Living Center, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Phil Bennett will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 am Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bock was born April 1, 1927 in Albemarle, NC. She was the daughter of the late Hubert Lapish and Helen Virginia Herlocker Lapish. She was previously employed by Avis Car Rentals in Charlotte and worked for various restaurants in the area including the former Angelo’s. She was a member of Concord First Assembly. Frances loved to cook, garden, & fish. She had a quick wit.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra Pointer and Denise Stewart.

Mrs. Bock is survived by her husband, John Bock; three daughters, Gina McAllister, Linda Cox of Lake Wylie, SC & Helen Patrice Cook of Lavonia, GA; six grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
