Frances Hathcock Russell

Mrs. Frances Hathcock Russell, 90, of North East Avenue, Kannapolis, died Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. Born March 29, 1919 in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Russell was the daughter of the late Sam Wilson Hathcock and Margaret Suther Hathcock. She retired following 48 years of employment from Cannon Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Eugene Russell, Sr., who died April 26, 2008; and a sister, Louise Hathcock Linn Williams. Survivors include a daughter, Ginger Lee Russell of Kannapolis; a son, Ray E. Russell, Jr. of Kannapolis; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A private service will be held for the family.
