Franklin D. Arnette

Mr. Franklin D. "Frank" Arnette, 81, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Rollins and Rev. Mary Arnette will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 11 to 11:45 am Wednesday prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Arnette was born April 20, 1935 in Loris, SC. He was the son of the late Otha Andrew Arnette and Jessie D. Watts Arnette.

Mr. Arnette is survived by three daughters, Wanda Dickerson and husband Danny of Kannapolis, Wanda Elsey of Charleston, SC, and Barbara Mahone and husband Phillip of Williamsburg, VA; three sons, Dennis Arnette and wife Mary of Kannapolis, Rodney Arnette of Charleston, SC, and Russell Arnette and wife Alice of China Grove; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gracie Watts and husband Carol of Tabor City and Eula Mae Edwards and husband Bill of Ahoski, VA.
