Franklin Eric Lipe

Mr. Franklin "Frank" Eric Lipe, 57, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Memorial Independent Baptist Church in Landis. Rev. Jeff Simpson will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday at the church after the service.

Frank was born on July 28, 1955 in Santa Monica, CA. He was a son of the late Charles Lipe and Geraldine Pope Lipe. Frank graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School in 1973. He was the owner and operator of Universal Sets & Improvements. Frank enjoyed writing and playing music. He adored his wife of 35 years and his family.

Frank is survived by his wife, Kathy Tucker Lipe; son, Brian Lipe and fiancée Stephanie Newell of Charlotte; sister, Suzanne Milam and husband Ronnie of Kannapolis; brother, Charles "Steve" Stephen Lipe; and grandson, Adam Wissinger.
