Gary Lester Allen

Mr. Gary Lester Allen, 65, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011, at Avante at Concord in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, October 31, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Wade Easom will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Allen was born October 16, 1946 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of Joyce Mason Allen and the late Charles Lester "Pete" Allen. Mr. Allen was a self-employed electrician. He was a member of Living Water Church of God. He enjoyed travel. Mr. Allen is survived by his mother, Joyce Mason Allen and family friends, Joe and Joanna Washington.
