Gaynell Bagwell Stack

Mrs. Gaynell Bagwell Stack, 82, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Carolinas HealthCare System-NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Wilson and Rev. Bill Thrailkill will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stack was born November 1, 1935 in Pickens, SC. She was a daughter of the late Winfred Levi Bagwell and Ruby McCollum Bagwell. She was a member of Wil-Mar Park Baptist Church in Concord.

Mrs. Stack owned and operated Stack Furniture in Kannapolis since 1951, along with her late husband, Glenn Hoyle Stack.

Mrs. Stack is survived by a sister, Yvonne Adams and husband Charlie of Salisbury; brother, Carl Bagwell and wife Mary Bruce of Gilbert, SC; five nephews, Stan Simmerson and wife Patti of Rougemont, Brian Simmerson of Roanoke, VA, Brad Simmerson and wife Michelle of Salisbury, Gregg Bagwell of Lexington, SC and Chris Bagwell and wife Ashley of Irmo, SC; a great-nephew, Samuel Simmerson; and a great-niece, Katherine Simmerson.
