George Kenneth Grant

Mr. George Kenneth "Kenny" Grant, 49, formerly of Kannapolis, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at Brian Center in Mooresville after five years of declining health and four months of serious illness. Memorial services are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Doris Weddington will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Grant was born February 18, 1955 in Laurinburg, NC. He was a son of the late Stephen Heard Grant, Sr. and Lucille Strong Grant. Mr. Grant was survived by a sister, Daisy Grant of Concord; three brothers, Stephen H. Grant, Jr. of Kannapolis, William H. Grant of Charlotte, and James H. Grant of Nevada; and a niece and nephew.
