George Kenneth Gunner

Mr. George Kenneth Gunner, 84, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ralph Robinette will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Gunner was born January 24, 1927 in Cherokee County, NC. He was the son of the late Lee Gunner and Leta Earwood Gunner. He worked as a residential carpenter. Mr. Gunner is survived by his wife, Louise Walker Gunner and six children, Sharon Sheffield and husband, Charles, Barbara Grutzius and husband, Allan, Debbie Fullam, Vicki Hawkins, Linda Tidwell and husband, Jimmy and Michael Gunner and wife, Renee.
