Georgia Bentley Bowyer

Mrs. Georgia Bentley Bowyer, 82, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Bob & Carolyn Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, May 14, 2010, at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 pm Friday at the cemetery. Mrs. Bowyer was born February 22, 1928 in Huntington, WV. She was a daughter of the late William Bentley and Louvenia Childers Bentley. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emory "Curtis" Bowyer, in January of 1999. She is survived by a son, Roger Dale Bowyer and wife Donna of Kannapolis; daughter, Linda Sue Peacock; brother, Noah Bentley of Ohio; four grandchildren, Jason Paul Bowyer, Lindsey Nichole Brault and husband, Michael, Jennifer Michelle Bowyer, and Stephanie Elizabeth Bowyer; and five great grandchildren.
