Gerardo Nava

Mr. Gerardo Nava, 56, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, at his home.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Josue Rosales will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 11:45 am Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Nava was born October 3, 1963 in Cruz Grande, Guerrero, Mexico. He was a son of Sosima Nava of Concord and the late Dimas Nava. Gerardo was employed as a landscaper. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He enjoyed boxing, watching movies, and eating seafood. Gerardo was also a history buff. He loved his family, especially his son.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Pedro Nava.

Mr. Nava is survived by his wife, Beatriz Espinoza de Nava; two daughters, Hellen Nava of Charlotte and Nadia Nava of Concord; son, Kevin Nava of Kannapolis; two brothers, Mario Nava and Juan Carlos Nava; two sisters, Juana Nava and Nazaria Nava; and two grandchildren, Jelaniz Nava and Eiden Nava Jaquez.
