Gilda Joy Hall

Mrs. Gilda Joy Williams Hall, 53, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Friday, February 22, 2013, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joyce Miles will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Gilda was born January 27, 1960 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Fred Williams and Betty Jean Lawing Williams. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thornell Lee �Shorty� Hall.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her son, Arthur Hall and daughter, Lagina Hall, both of the home; two step-daughters, Retosha Allen of Mooresville and Cynthia Williams of the home; two sisters, Vonnie Davis and husband Jesse of China Grove and Shirley Wallace Kannapolis; five grandchildren, Evita, Ashlynn, Devin, Selena, Robert; three great-grandchildren; three nephews; two nieces; and her cousin, Kimberly.
