When I met Kay in 2017, she graciously welcomed me into her home. I was just some stranger come along with her stepson to sit on her porch swing, borrow the tent trailer, bask in the shade of that mighty tree in the yard and take up her husband’s time. I got to enjoy her lovely sitting room, her smile and hospitality over the next year as she doted on her ailing Dutch, kept her house immaculate and shared her sweet family. I never heard her complain, she was always a lovely hostess and never really accepted the praise she earned. In the arms of Jesus now, I hope her worries are past and her heart is full. Thank you, Kay, for your kindness.
