Grace Lipe Gregory

Mrs. Grace Lipe Gregory, 89, of W. A St., Kannapolis, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, march 29, 2008 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Steve Beam will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Gregory was born in Iredell County, Oct. 19, 1918, a daughter of the late John Alexander Lipe and Nancy Louada Overcash Lipe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Otis "T.O." Gregory, in June 1990. She retired from the cloth room of Cannon Mills, Plant 4, and formerly attended North Kannapolis Wesleyan Church. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Wagoner of Kannapolis and Billie Hollar of Landis; three sisters, Nell Tedder and Faye Cook of Concord and Pauline Westmoreland of Kannapolis; one brother, Ray "Buddy" Lipe of Morganton; four grandchildren, Greg Wagoner, Allison Creswell, Tommy Hollar and Amy Wagoner; and three great-grandchildren, Conor Creswell, Bailey Hollar and Seth Hollar.
