Grace Connell Honeycutt

Mrs. Grace Connell Honeycutt, 92, of 905 Mable Avenue, Kannapolis, died Sunday, August 13, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ralph Adams will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born April 14, 1914, in Union County, Mrs. Honeycutt was the daughter of the late John Wilson Connell and Minnie Laura Brafford Connell. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Collins and Aikman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Marion Honeycutt; son, Nicholas Ross Honeycutt; and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Ebby H. Canup of Kannapolis; grandson, Daniel Bodine of Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Cathy W. Honeycutt of Concord; and special friends, Jim and Marilyn Blackwell and their children, Jeremy and Jessica of Concord.
