Gregory “Greg” Brent Johnson, 36, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

A memorial service will be held at the home at a later date.

Greg was born on December 31, 1977 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of Dennis Eugene Johnson and the late Patricia Ann Alexander Johnson. He worked for Johnson Roofing and Construction.

In addition to his father, Greg is survived by his wife, Melanie Dawn Johnson; daughter, Chandra Johnson; and two brothers, Dennis Johnson and Joey Johnson.
