Harold Myers Allman

Mr. Harold Myers Allman, 72, of Linda Avenue, Kannapolis, died Friday, March 21, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel The Rev. Robert Suttles will officiate. Burial will follow in the West Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lady's Funeral Home from noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Mr. Allman was born in Rowan County on April 3, 1935, a son of the late Earl Calvin Allman and Julia Wright Allman. He was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church. He retired from Cannon Mills Plant One, where he was a supervisor in the weave room. He also operated a mobile home rental business. He is survived by two brothers, Roy L. Allman and Richard W. Allman, both of Kannapolis; and a sister Ruby A. Harrington of China Grove.
