Harold Douglas Mills

Mr. Harold Douglas Mills, 61, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, at his home in Salisbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8:00 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Mills was born May 31, 1956 in Salisbury. He was a son of the late James Curtis Mills and Pauline Stegall Mills. He worked for Pillowtex and later worked as a Security Officer. He was a member and deacon of Independence Square Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Mills Gaines.

Mr. Mills is survived by his wife, Brenda Morris Mills; two daughters, Laura Daniels of Salisbury and Sueann Hoffman of Spencer; two sisters, Carolyn Benton of Landis and Margaret Barnette of Statesville; brother, James Mills of Youngsville; and five grandchildren.
