Mr. Harold Edward Fink, 79, of Boulevard Park Circle, Kannapolis, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. A military graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury. Born September 21, 1927, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Henry Michael Fink and Ila Wentz Fink. He formerly worked in the Bleachery at Cannon Mills. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Poston Perkins VFW Post 8989. He was also a member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Michael Ray Fink; daughter, Marie Elizabeth Fink Rodriquez of Kannapolis; two sisters, Thelma Richardson of Concord and Ceola Carter of Gold Hill; a brother Charlie Fink of Kannapolis; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and caregivers/friends, Darlene and Jimmie McGinnis of China Grove.
