Harold Lee Cook

Mr. Harold Lee Cook, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Big Elm Retirement Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jeff Richards will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 am, Saturday prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Cook was born on February 22, 1944 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of the late Lewis B. Cook and Floy Jackson Cook. He was a member of the New Gilead Reformed United Church of Christ and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer. He was a medical researcher at UNC Chapel Hill. He returned to Kannapolis to care for his mother.

He is survived by many friends and family.
