Harold Lee Mullis' Obituary
Mr. Harold Lee Mullis, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. James Strickland will officiate. Following the funeral services, friends and family will meet at the “American Legion Post 535” located at 6112 Concord Highway, Monroe, NC 28110 from 5 to 7:00 pm. Interment is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, February 24, 2025 at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Harold was born May 27, 1944 in Union County. He was a son of the late Henry Mullis and Beulah Baucom Mullis. He was a well known, kind, and humble man. He was always very involved with his family and loved working on cars. Mr. Mullis worked as a paint and body mechanic, and also was a Country and Gospel singer. He was known with his brother Carroll as "The Twins".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rachel Smith and Frances Thomas.
Harold is survived by his wife, Crystal Russ Mullis; four children, Bryon Mullis and wife Shawna of WV, Kenneth Mullis and wife Heather of Monroe, Crystal Mullis Newsome and husband Kevin of Concord, and Tanya Mullis of Kannapolis; half-sister Gail Mullis Jernigan; half-brother, Dale Mullis; two brothers, Carroll C. Mullis and wife Darlene of Kannapolis and Jim Mullis and wife Frances of Concord; nine grandchildren, Megan, Garrett, Kailee, Kelsey, Eric, Savana, Madison, Alina, and Alex; and two great grandchildren, Jentry and Hunter.
