Heather Amelia Cherry Ballard

Heather Amelia Cherry Ballard, 36, of South Rose Avenue passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Patti Tillmon Simpson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:45 pm Sunday prior to the service. Heather was born December 17, 1973 in Mecklenburg County. She was the daughter of Zackie Mangum Cherry of Kannapolis and Paul Wesley Cherry of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eric David Cherry. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two daughters, Katelyn Ballard of Kannapolis and Jessica Jackson of North Myrtle Beach, SC; and her maternal grandmother, Doris Braton of Kannapolis.
