Helen Robena Bradshaw Morris

Mrs. Helen Robena Barnette Bradshaw Morris, 98, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, February 28, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lewis Weddington will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 pm Friday prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Morris was born on December 10, 1915 in Alexander County. She was the oldest of nine children of the late Ed Barnette and Nora Baker Barnette. Mrs. Morris was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Marvin Bradshaw and Cleo H. Morris.

Mrs. Morris is survived by daughter, Brenda Elaine Helms and husband Bill and son, Jerry D. Bradshaw and wife Kaye, both of Kannapolis; two sisters, Hazel Bradshaw of Hiddenite and Cecil Walker of Concord; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
